For the second consecutive year, was a sponsor of the National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC) National Conference for top engineering students. We were the Title Sponsor of this year’s event which took place April 5-6, 2013 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

We always look forward to reaching more students who are enthusiastic about using, starting with their school projects. This year,’s Audience Outreach Manager, Kristin Carty, led three breakout sessions on the platform, and introduced Product Search as well as’s IMT Career Journal.

ThomasNet is on a mission to address the workforce shortage in manufacturing, and show future workers why this industry offers wonderful careers, how helps shorten the procurement and engineering cycle in their efforts, and helps them to find credible American industrial suppliers.
